Congrats Gov. Palin!

 Palin or Fey? by raglind.

Earlier today Sen. McCain announced Gov. Palin as his Vice-Presidential choice.

Senator Cornyn issued a response, saying:

"This choice reaffirms Sen. McCain's commitment to energy independence, spending restraint and reforming the way Washington works. Gov. Palin supports an "all of the above" energy approach, with first-hand experience advocating it. She has a strong record of working to cut wasteful spending. She is firmly dedicated to promoting strong families and protecting the most vulnerable in society. Gov. Palin will be a true agent of change who brings a breath of fresh air to Washington from far outside-the-beltway."

Last month Gov. Palin joined Senator Cornyn during his "Energy Independence Days" online. Read her guest post here.

Palin is a good pick, and here comes the mainstream media circling the same old wagon they have had for years.  Who does Obama pick?  A Washington insider who has been there for years!  I had a coach in junior high school that told me that Biden's reccord is for a freeze on neuclear weapons and cuts in defense spending.  We can't afford to lapse back iinto this.  Let's get the vote out for Senator Cornyn and John MCCain!

Palin has worked harder than any other politician when it comes to our energy crisis.  She wants to increase taxes for on oil companies profits and she is for providing grants for electrical utilities to lower energy costs in Alaska.

Excellent pick by McCain.  Palin's record on natural resources and energy could not be better for McCain.

The link didn't work for me (her guest post). But I'm all for Gov. Palin! She's the ace in the hole and I'm so thrilled she's on the ticket. I feel much better about putting McCain on my sidebar now.
