What Do You Think About Congress?

At the end of last week the Democrat-controlled Congress shut off the lights and went on vacation without working towards a solution to our energy crisis.

What's so hard about this that our very smart politicians cannot connect the dots?  We MUST show the world we cannot be held hostage.  We MUST become energy independent.  If you never start, you'll never get there.  It's long past time to start.

Perhaps the American people need to send Harry and Nancy on a permanent vacation if they do not deal with these issues.

Congress SUCKS, you're all up there watching out for your own interests, not your constituents, and you want us to turn out and spend 4-5 bucks a gallon for gas to get there? HA! Good Luck chumps.

This is the reason i changed my party to republican, to see our money go to middle eastern countries that hate our guts when we can keep our money in the United States simply by drilling here.

Congress should have at least ruled on the off shore drilling issues.  This Democratic Congress has failed us over and over again.

I am amused by Obama's backtracking/flipflopping on using US oil reserves.  But you can bet he's going to tax the devil out of every profit that comes out of each well.  What else can we expect from a "take it and tax'em" Democrat?

2. I also support nuclear power for domestic use.

So much for an open Congress, which Nancy Pelosi promised. She is running the House like a dictator - my way or the highway! She is completely devoid of reason on the domestic drilling issue! Any idiot recognizes that we cannot continue sending $700 billion plus out of the country for imported oil, annually. So I guess she wants us to do the same thing Obama suggested - air up your tires. Isn't that brilliant?
